Welcome to my little website.

My name is Lily. When I was tiny, I lived on a barge with my Daidy, Earth and Moon Mother but I had a big playground: NATURE!!!

I found taxidermy as an answer to the question of how to liberate creatures from the problem of death. I was inspired by a need to restore my beautiful best friend Thane. He was and thanks to taxidermy still IS a Sparrowhawk!!

I hope my work is self explanatory, but if you find it tricky, I usually just sit quietly with my pieces and see if anything wants to emerge.

I saw this while walking. I was totally unprepared- the best way to encounter anything, especially in a forest:)

Its scale still amazes me now. I particularly like the way the beetle seems to have reached a climatic peak, but it's too big to go anywhere else- where can it go next?

This makes me think of Thane and how our friendship could have reached a peak but I sustained it eternally through Taxidermy:)

Thane doesn't need to clamber down a pedestal EVER now!!!!
